Opti­-Socks Program

This year the JOOI Club and the adult club collected 736 pair of socks, Springfield Plains also collected 51 hats, 62 pairs of mittens/gloves, and 3 scarves for distribution

The Holiday Lights parade was a success thanks to Tom Middleton's hard work and trailer. Special thanks to the JOOI kids who came and rode along singng Rudolph the red nose reindeer over and over again. A grand time was had by all.

Paperless Classroom
The optimist presented a check to Clarkston Schools Monday Nov 14 at the board meeting for Amy Allen's paperless classroom project. Amy a teacher at CHS raised over $36,000 to make this happen. The Optimist board agreed to provide $1,500 of this. (click for article)

Friendly Forest
Children 2-9 years old walked the trail, collecting candy from volunteers. Manning stations were mostly high school and junior high students in superhero, cartoon, and fairy tale costumes.

At ESTHERS Children we work globally with girls between the ages of 4 and 18 years old living in extreme at-risk conditions. We use a six-step program to see girls transformed physically, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and socially through community outreach, family intervention. Click for info
